The nose unfolds with rich butterscotch, ripe banana, golden dried sultana, vanilla cream, light toffee and subtle polished aged oak spice. On the palate, viscous honeyed grain sweetness harmonises with silky rounded spirit and robust elevated alcohol warmth, balanced by gentle, well-mellowed oak tannins from quarter-century maturation.
