Moon Harbour Dock 1 Chateau La Riviere is a French single malt whisky produced by Moon Harbour Distillery, bottled at 45.8% alcohol by volume with a 700-millilitre capacity. It features secondary maturation inside casks previously used for Château La Rivière red wine, infusing the spirit with distinctive red wine-driven flavours. The nose unfolds ripe dark berries, delicate red wine tannins, subtle vanilla oak and light malt cereal sweetness. On the palate, juicy blackberry and plum notes blend harmoniously with gentle oak spice, smooth malt base and elegant wine-derived astringency; its relatively high alcohol strength is well integrated without harshness. It ends with a lingering finish of dark stone fruits, soft oak and faint red wine undertones, appealing to collectors fond of wine-cask finished French craft single malts.
