Romate Amontillado NPU is a classic dry Spanish sherry produced by Sanchez Romate, bottled at 19% ABV in a 750ml format. Matured under a protective flor veil before oxidative ageing, it delivers the signature nutty, saline character of fine Amontillado. The nose offers roasted hazelnut, dried almond, subtle sea salt, baked apple and delicate oak spice. On the palate, crisp dryness balances gentle nutty sweetness and light saline mineral notes, with soft, mild alcohol weight and restrained wood tannins. Its clean, medium-length finish lingers with toasted nuts and faint citrus peel, ideal as an aperitif, paired with cured Iberian ham or nuts, and best served chilled neat.
