The nose opens with baked apricot, dark sultana, light peat smoke, honeyed malt and bold vanilla oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, with flavours of sun-warmed stone fruit, dark caramel, mild mineral spice and a prominent deep nutty oak depth. The long, lingering finish underscores the intense, fruit-and-smoke driven character of this high-strength Highland single malt.
