Its aroma unfolds with baked cider apple, poached pear, polished vanilla oak, dried fruit compote and subtle almond spice, mellowed by years of barrel rest to lose sharp raw fruit edges. The palate delivers layered cooked orchard fruit upfront, balanced with soft tannic oak and silky clean distillate sweetness.
