Darkness Cambus 29 Year Old is a rare Lowland grain Scotch whisky independently bottled by Master of Malt under the Darkness series, bottled at 45.7% ABV with a volume of 500ml. Cambus distillery is long closed, making releases highly collectible. This bottling carries the line’s hallmark heavily charred cask finish. The nose unfolds vanilla custard, dried stone fruits, honey and gently toasted oak. The palate delivers smooth butterscotch, ripe pear, subtle spice and dark caramel, layered with charred wood tones. After nearly three decades of maturation, the finish is lengthy and mellow, showcasing sweet grain character alongside lingering warm oak. Its moderate strength works beautifully neat; light water can draw out extra fruity and creamy dimensions.
