The aroma brings rich dark fruits, ripe plum, sticky toffee and dark chocolate, layered with charred oak, subtle dried spices and a hint of smoky caramel. On the palate, concentrated blackberry and fig jam take the lead, accompanied by butterscotch, roasted nuts and firm toasted wood tannins. The elevated strength delivers a dense, weighty mouthfeel. The finish is prolonged, featuring lingering dark fruit preserve, cocoa powder and warm wood spice. Perfect neat; a minimal amount of water can soften the oak and unlock deeper fruity complexity.
