Its aroma is layered with rich dried prunes, sun-dried raisins, candied dark fruits, intertwined with polished dark chocolate, aged oak vanilla, subtle leather and light roasted walnut aromas precipitated from long-term oak cask maturation. On the palate, mellow concentrated dried fruit sweetness takes precedence, matched with silky tannins from seasoned wood, delicate cinnamon and nutmeg spice, plus elegant grape-derived richness, delivering an exceptionally rounded, velvety mouthfeel typical of well-aged premium Armagnac.
