Dewar’s Caribbean Smooth 8‑Year‑Old is a blended Scotch whisky produced by John Dewar & Sons of Scotland, bottled at 40% ABV with a 700‑ml volume. After initial maturation in traditional oak casks, the whisky finishes ageing inside ex‑Caribbean rum barrels to gain tropical‑influenced flavours. The nose presents ripe banana, vanilla, honey and soft caramel alongside light cereal malt notes. On the palate sweet tropical‑fruit, creamy toffee and subtle dark‑sugar flavours come through with a gentle smooth texture. It delivers a short‑mellow finish with lingering honey and warm rum‑infused sweetness. This approachable blend works well neat, on‑the‑rocks or in simple highball‑style cocktails.
