Hazelburn Handfilled is a hand-bottled official distillery release from Campbeltown, filled at a potent cask strength of 55.3% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. As Springbank’s fully peated malt expression, it delivers smoldering medicinal peat smoke, ripe dark stone fruit, creamy caramel, subtle coastal brine, polished nutty oak and soft charred cereal undertones exclusive to Hazelburn’s peated distillate. The nose unfolds with thick ash smoke, jammy dried plum and gentle warm vanilla oak sweetness. The palate balances intense smoky malt richness with restrained fruity brightness, faint citrus zest and tightly structured integrated oak tannins. Its long warming finish lingers with lingering peat ash, salted dried fruit and subtle charred wood herbal whispers.
