The nose delivers concentrated dried dark stone fruits, aged leather, polished warm oak spice, candied dried fruit and deep mature honeyed malt sweetness. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with luxuriant dried-fruit brightness, layered well-integrated mature oak complexity and an extraordinarily long warm lingering finish. The finish highlights Ben Nevis’s rich rounded fruity Highland malt character of rare three-decade limited independent Signatory single cask release.
