Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 is a peated Islay single malt official distillery bottling at 46% ABV with a 700ml volume. Matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, it balances smoldering coastal peat smoke with rich dark dried fruit and velvety spiced malt notes. The aroma carries ash peat, ripe black cherry, raisin, sea salt mineral and subtle cinnamon oak undertones. The palate offers smooth layered smoke-fruit core, gentle saline spice and silky medium-full texture. It holds a long warming finish with persistent sherry berry sweetness and lingering maritime peat depth. Best savoured neat, light water dilution unlocks vivid interplay of smoky brine and jammy dark fruit.
