Crafted as the distillery’s core aged bourbon-matured malt, it undergoes extended maturation to soften sharp smoky peat bite and integrate deep sweet bourbon oak-derived richness. The nose offers ripe baked banana, dried apricot, subtle vanilla bourbon oak and gentle sea salt honey sweetness without harsh fiery alcoholic fumes. The palate delivers well-balanced smoky and ripe fruit flavours, smooth mellow alcohol warmth and faint toasty vanilla spice brought by long barrel ageing. It features a soft lingering finish of smoked dried fruit and light butterscotch notes.
