Assault Craigellachie 2013/2021 is a bold fruity Speyside single cask independent bottling from Shinanoya at strong 61.1% ABV with a 700ml volume. Distilled in 2013 and matured eight years in mixed fruit oak casks, it delivers thick ripe stone fruit sweetness balanced with warm spice and rich creamy malt undertones. The aroma carries baked apricot, golden raisin, mild cinnamon bark, butter toffee and heavily toasted oak notes. The palate offers dense layered fruited core, intense warm tannin spice and full viscous medium texture. It holds an extended lingering finish with vivid stone fruit brightness and quiet spiced oak depth. Best savoured neat with tiny water drops, gentle dilution softens its high strength to reveal multi-layered fruit, spice and creamy malt flavours.
