A Tribute to Godzilla's 70th Anniversary
Released in 2024, this edition pairs monochrome Godzilla artwork with bold red Japanese lettering. Nagahama describes the sherry-cask blend as an interpretation of both Godzilla's strength and gentler side. Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a single malt whisky?
No. It is labelled World Blended and contains malt and grain whisky. Its back label lists malt whisky produced in the UK and Japan, so it should not be described as entirely Japanese-distilled whisky.
Is it finished in sherry casks?
The producer states that all component whiskies were matured in sherry casks. It does not describe the release simply as a short sherry-cask finish.
How many bottles were announced?
Nagahama announced 4,600 bottles for the 2024 release. This is the original edition size, not a statement of current availability.
What are the size, strength and serving options?
This is a 700ml bottle at 50% ABV. Japanese retailer Kaiseiya suggests serving it neat or over ice.
Does the product have Godzilla packaging?
The product photographs show a matching Godzilla presentation carton alongside the bottle. Contact us before ordering if box condition is important to you.
Will I need to pay import duties or taxes?
Our Shipping Policy states that international orders ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Applicable customs duties, import taxes and local fees are paid by the customer and are excluded from the product price and shipping cost.
