Koshu grapes have long been loved and cultivated in Katsunuma, Yamanashi. Enjoyed as table grapes and widely used for white wine, they are especially popular for their compatibility with Japanese cuisine. This clean, dry white is made from Koshu fermented at low temperature in modern stainless-steel tanks to create pure, fresh aromas, then matured in old barrels to gain calm development without adding overt oak flavor. Refreshing Koshu aromas, soft mature notes, and lively acidity spread across the palate before a pleasant finish. Its crisp dryness makes it versatile with Japanese, Western, and many other dishes.
