This official distillery release showcases Kavalan’s signature tropical maturation paired with vibrant Portuguese red wine barrique influence, balancing rich malt sweetness with vivid fruity elegance. The nose bursts with ripe blackberry, fresh grape must, malted barley, dark cherry, warm vanilla oak and a hint of jammy tropical fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerfully balanced, delivering layers of sweet cereal malt, concentrated red berry compote, juicy grape tannin, ripe mango and subtle toasted oak spice. The lengthy, fruit-forward finish highlights the lush, expressive character unique to Taiwan’s warm-climate whisky maturation.
