Kikka Gin: Three Botanicals from a Nara Perspective
Kikka Gin is Yamato Distillery's Japanese craft gin from Nara, bottled here at 59% ABV in a 700ml format. A rice-spirit base carries juniper berries, Yamato tachibana citrus and Yamato toki, a Japanese angelica. The result is a focused botanical profile shaped by two ingredients grown in Nara.
Nara Botanicals, a Focused Recipe
Yamato Distillery takes its name from Nara's historic regional name. For its flagship Kikka Gin, it brings together locally grown tachibana and toki with juniper, using a short botanical list to express fragrance, freshness and depth. Japanese retailer Kandaya identifies the citrus peel and toki leaves as the parts used. The white bottle with its blue botanical emblem gives this expression a distinctive presentation.
