Kingsbury Authentic Jamaica Clarendon 14 Year Old 2007 is a Jamaican rum bottled by Kingsbury, distilled in 2007, aged 14 years, at a cask strength of 66.5% ABV with a volume of 700ml. The nose presents classic Jamaican ester notes of ripe overripe banana, tropical fruit funk, molasses, dark honey and subtle smoked oak. On the palate, intense tropical fruit, rich molasses, fermented fruit and warm wood spice develop with a powerful, full-bodied texture. The finish is long and layered, sustained with tropical ester fruitiness and lingering dark sugar sweetness. Best sampled neat; gradual addition of water opens up further complex fruity aromatics.
