Barbeito Sweet Madeira is a Portuguese fortified sweet Madeira wine at 19% ABV in a standard 750ml format, produced by Vinhos Barbeito. Aged via traditional hot canteiro oxidative maturation, it delivers ripe tropical fruit, molasses, soft spice and warm caramel oak without sharp dry bitter notes. Its nose releases ripe banana, candied pineapple, brown sugar caramel, mild raisin, vanilla custard and light smoky oak undertones. The palate offers rounded jammy tropical sweetness, gentle medium spirit warmth, layered sun-ripened orchard fruit and delicate slow-aged wood tannins. It has a long, smooth finish with lingering molasses fruit and soft caramel oak vibrancy. Enjoy lightly chilled neat as a dessert digestif, matching tropical fruit tarts, milk chocolate and mild soft blue cheeses.
