Distilled in 2007 and matured sixteen full years in sweet ex-bourbon oak casks, it delivers rich butterscotch cream, toasted sweet corn, ripe vanilla custard and soft nutty oak without sharp ethanol bite. Its aroma opens with warm toffee, baked grain, mild coconut and gentle honeyed wood notes. On the palate, rounded creamy grain sweetness meets robust full-proof warmth, framed by supple well-mellowed light tannins and faint caramel undertones. The medium finish lingers on smooth butterscotch, light vanilla and quiet sweet oak spice. Best enjoyed neat at mild coolness, a small dash of mineral water softens its luxuriant aged grain complexity for velvety sipping.
