Pittyvaich 30 Year Old Special Release 2020 is issued by Diageo, originating from the Speyside region, bottled at cask strength 50.8% ABV with a volume of 700ml. The nose delivers ripe orchard fruits, dried figs, honeyed malt, polished old oak, light leather and subtle spiced walnut notes. On the palate, concentrated stewed pear, toffee and candied citrus unfold, layered with gentle tannic oak, dark dried berries and faint liquorice, presenting a rich, well-balanced full body shaped by three decades of maturation. The finish is exceptionally prolonged, featuring lingering dried fruit, nutty sweetness and soft antique oak. Best enjoyed neat; add minimal spring water cautiously to unlock further hidden aromatics.
