Silver Seal Nicaragua Rum 24‑Year‑Old 1999 is a cask‑strength rum independently bottled by Silver Seal at 49.8% ABV with a 700‑ml volume. Though distilled in Nicaragua, it was selected and bottled under Silver‑Seal’s programme. After 24‑year‑long tropical‑oak maturation, the spirit gains deep‑set flavours accelerated by the hot‑climate ageing process. The aroma delivers rich molasses, dried‑fig, dark‑brown‑sugar, vanilla and gentle toasted‑oak notes. The palate features ripe tropical‑fruit, toffee, prune and mild wood‑spice with a smooth‑rounded body despite the elevated ABV. It has an extended finish with lingering caramel‑sweetness and subtle nutty‑oak undertones. This long‑aged limited‑edition rum is well‑suited for neat‑sipping, and a tiny splash of water can bring out softer fruit‑forward nuances for relaxed enjoyment.
