Boutique Rum Company Haitian Rum 18 Year Old Batch 4 is an aged Haitian cane rum independently bottled at powerful cask strength 57.2% ABV in a compact 500ml bottle, matured eighteen years in oak casks delivering earthy cane sweetness, dried tropical fruit and rich spiced vanilla oak layers. Its aroma bursts with raw sugarcane sap, sun-dried pineapple, warm clove spice, toasted coconut oak and dark brown molasses despite the intense undiluted high proof. The palate delivers deep rustic cane fruit sweetness upfront, wrapped in dense fully integrated aged oak tannins and full-bodied traditional Haitian rum core. It finishes extraordinarily long, earthy and spiced with lingering tropical cane tones, best savoured drop by drop with minimal water to soften its potent long-aged cask strength character.
