Silver Seal Trinidad T.D.L. 31 Years Old 1991 is an ultra-aged single cask Trinidad rum independently bottled by Silver Seal, released at robust cask strength 65.3% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled back in 1991, thirty-one years of slow tropical oak maturation softens sharp distillate heat and delivers layered tropical fruit, dark molasses and weathered wood depth. The nose unfolds ripe pineapple, thick dark molasses, subtle charred oak and dried stone fruit sweetness without overwhelming fiery alcoholic fumes. The palate balances bright tropical fruit and rich viscous molasses, powerful rounded spirit warmth and faint spiced barrel notes from decades-long tropical ageing. It holds a soft lingering finish of candied tropical fruit and deep roasted sugarcane undertones. This scarce long-aged rum works neat or lightly watered, ideal for collectors of rare vintage Caribbean single cask rum.
