Distilled in 2012 and matured for a decade, it amplifies Ledaig’s signature smoky coastal character with full undiluted cask intensity. The nose bursts with smouldering heather peat, briny sea salt, ripe citrus zest, dark dried fruit and soft vanilla oak. On the palate, earthy medicinal smoke mingles with bright tropical fruit sweetness, thick oily malt and robust elevated alcohol warmth, balanced by gentle polished oak tannins. Its remarkably lengthy finish lingers on lingering ash smoke, mineral brine and candied citrus peel; this collectible independent bottling can be enjoyed neat or with a tiny splash of mineral water to temper its powerful cask strength.
