Wilson & Morgan Glen Grant 25 Years Old 1998 is a rare independent Speyside single malt bottled by renowned Italian independent bottler Wilson & Morgan, drawn at cask strength 56.7% ABV into a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled in 1998 and matured for a quarter-century, it delivers Glen Grant’s signature bright orchard fruit layered with deep aged oak complexity amplified by full undiluted cask intensity. The nose unfolds with sun-ripened green pear, candied lemon, wild floral honey, dried almond and polished aged vanilla oak. On the palate, vibrant clean fruit sweetness balances velvety long-aged malt and powerful elevated alcohol warmth, framed by refined, well-mellowed oak tannins from decades of maturation. Its extraordinarily lengthy finish lingers on preserved stone fruit, nutty wood spice and faint butterscotch; this highly collectible vintage independent bottling is best savoured neat, with only a tiny drop of mineral water if desired to soften its potent cask strength.
