Glenallachie 9 Years Old Douro Valley Wine Cask Finish is an official distillery-bottled Speyside single malt supplied in a 700ml bottle at 48% ABV. Matured for nine years before receiving a finishing period in ex-Douro Valley red wine casks, it marries classic Speyside fruity malt with rich red berry wine influence. The nose features ripe red cherry, wild berry, crisp green apple, floral honey and subtle wine-soaked oak. On the palate, bright orchard fruit sweetness blends with jammy red fruit, smooth creamy malt and balanced medium alcohol warmth, softened by delicate polished wine tannins. Its lingering finish holds dried berries, light vanilla and faint grape skin notes, delivering a vibrant wine-finished malt best enjoyed neat to highlight its bright fruited layers.
