Kingsbury Gold Girvan 26 Years Old 1997 is a rare long-aged Scottish grain whisky independently bottled by Kingsbury under its premium Gold range, distilled in 1997 and matured for 26 years, presented in a standard 700ml bottle at 44.7% ABV. Decades of slow oak maturation softens the distillate into an exceptionally smooth, well-rounded expression brimming with rich dessert and vanilla notes. The nose unfolds with thick butterscotch, ripe pear, vanilla fudge, dried apricot and subtle toasted almond oak aromas. On the palate, creamy caramelised grain sweetness harmonises with gentle dried fruit layers and mild, approachable alcohol warmth, wrapped in ultra-mellow polished oak tannins. The finish lingers elegantly with lingering toffee, candied stone fruit and soft nutty wood undertones. A highly collectible limited vintage grain release, it is best enjoyed neat to fully savour its delicate, long-matured creamy complexity.
