Old Malt Cask Ardmore 13 Years Old 2010 is a commemorative 25th anniversary Highland single malt independently bottled by Hunter Laing, distilled in 2010 and matured for thirteen years at a balanced 50% ABV in a standard 700ml format. It embodies Ardmore’s distinctive peated Highland profile, blending soft smoke with rich cereal and ripe fruit honed by over a decade of oak ageing. Its aroma opens with gentle medicinal peat smoke, ripe green apple, honeyed cereal grain, dried wild heather and subtle creamy vanilla oak. The palate delivers restrained earthy smoke brightness, juicy orchard fruit sweetness, full malty roundness and well-integrated medium-strength warmth with silky soft oak tannins. It finishes medium-long and harmonious, with lingering light peat, stone fruit and faint caramel wood spice. Released to mark Hunter Laing’s quarter-century milestone, this limited anniversary bottling works beautifully for neat sipping or light highballs, showcasing Ardmore’s unique smoky Highland malt character.
