Isle of Raasay Hebridean Single Malt R-02.2 is an official distillery-bottled Islands single malt at 46.4% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, crafted on the Hebridean Isle of Raasay with local coastal barley and mild peat malt. Its aroma carries soft heather smoke, fresh sea salt brine, ripe green apple, subtle vanilla and herbal coastal grassy undertones unique to the island terroir. The palate delivers gentle smoky maritime salt upfront, bright crisp orchard fruit, silky rounded malt and faint soft oak tannins without overwhelming peat intensity. It holds a medium mellow finish of faint smouldering heather ash, lingering fresh apple and mild warm vanilla oak sweetness. This balanced island malt works neat or lightly watered, beloved by whisky fans for its distinctive harmonious blend of gentle Hebridean peat, coastal saline character and bright clean fruit layers.
