Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask is an official distillery-bottled peated Islay single malt at 50% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, finished in rich Pedro Ximénez sherry casks after core maturation. Its aroma blends thick medicinal peat smoke, briny coastal sea salt, sticky dark raisin, dried fig and sweet molasses sherry oak. The palate delivers bold smoky brine upfront, lush jammy dried dark fruit, velvety malt and plush sweet sherry tannins balancing the Islay peat power. It holds a lengthy warm finish of smouldering ash, preserved dark berry and lingering syrupy sherry oak sweetness. This well-balanced sherried peat expression works neat or lightly watered, favoured by collectors for its harmonious fusion of coastal smoke and decadent PX sherry fruit richness.
