Lustau Pedro Ximénez San Emilio is a sweet Spanish fortified dessert sherry at mild 17% ABV in a standard 75ml format, crafted by Lustau from sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grape varietals. Long oxidative maturation delivers thick concentrated raisin fruit, rich floral honey, dark apricot compote and soft subtle herbal nut undertones without sharp harsh dryness. Its nose bursts with muscat grape blossom, thick sultana treacle, apricot jam, ripe raisin, mild almond and delicate vanilla oak. The palate offers silky heavy sweet fruit, low gentle spirit warmth, layered jammy tropical orchard fruit and faint thin grape tannins. It finishes short, lush and honey-fruity with lingering floral muscat and treacle vibrancy. Served lightly chilled neat as a dessert digestif, matching fruit tarts, soft blue cheese and citrus sweet pastries.
