OLD&PLUS Romate Pedro Ximénez Cardinal Cisneros 20 Year Old is a premium aged sweet Spanish fortified wine from Sanchez Romate, bottled at 16% ABV in a compact 500ml format. Made from sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grapes with two decades of oxidative oak maturation, it delivers ultra-concentrated dried fruit, molasses and velvety wood sweetness. Its nose bursts with thick raisin compote, candied fig, dark honey, black treacle and roasted walnut, layered with soft toasted oak. The palate offers luxuriously unctuous, jammy dried fruit sweetness, gentle low-medium spirit warmth, rich dark fruit jam and delicate spiced wood tannins. The finish is extraordinarily long and silky, with persistent raisin, molasses and caramel vibrancy. Best served lightly chilled neat; it pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, blue cheese, nut tarts and dried fruit platters.
