Provenance Mortlach 8 Year Old 2013 is an independent bottling by Douglas Laing, Speyside single malt whisky, bottled at 46% ABV, 700ml. Mortlach is famed for its robust, meaty "Beast of Speyside" character. The nose presents cooked dark fruits, savoury meaty notes, dried plum, ginger spice and dark honey. On the palate, rich dried berries, smoky meat undertones, cinnamon and ripe orchard fruit emerge with firm spice. The medium-long finish delivers lingering dried fruit, warm pepper and the signature savoury Mortlach complexity.
