Distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2022, this forty-one-year vintage expression delivers extremely refined, evolved Speyside malt character after decades of slow oak maturation.The nose features preserved green apple, dried floral herbs, honeyed grainy malt, subtle leather, aged vanilla and gentle nutty oak. On the palate, it is medium-full and silky, offering sweet stewed orchard fruit, soft dried fruit, delicate spice and prominent seasoned oak tannin. The long, lingering finish harmonises mature fruit and layered woody malt flavours, making this a highly collectible long-aged Linkwood bottling.
