It consists of selected single‑malt whiskies matured for 44 long years after distillation in 1979. The nose delivers dried figs, old honey, dark‑fruit compote, polished oak and subtle leather notes. On the palate rich dried‑fruits, dark‑chocolate, gentle spices and nutty oak unfold elegantly without harshness. It has an exceptionally long finish with lingering fruit sweetness and mellow woody tones. This ultra‑aged limited‑release whisky is best enjoyed neat to appreciate its profound complexity.
