The nose offers ripe stewed orchard fruit, dried apricot, subtle spiced vanilla oak and gentle floral heather honey sweetness without harsh fiery alcoholic fumes. The palate delivers well-balanced bright and jammy fruit flavours, smooth mellow alcohol warmth and faint nutty woody spice brought by extended two-stage cask ageing. It features a soft lingering finish of poached pear and light caramel fudge notes.
