Connoisseur's Choice Wood Finish Old Malt Cask Aultmore 13 Year Old 2009 is a wood-finished Speyside single malt independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 45% ABV in a 700ml bottle. Thirteen years of oak maturation delivers soft honeyed malt, dried stone fruit and elegant layered wood without peat smoke. Its nose unfolds with ripe pear, golden honey, dried apricot, almond and polished oak from its special finish. The palate offers smooth malt sweetness, gentle balanced spirit warmth, bright fruit and subtle wood tannins. It finishes silky and lingering with honeyed fruit and nutty oak, ideal neat or lightly diluted for fans of refined finished Speyside malt.
