The nose unfolds with dried apricot, golden heather honey, toasted almond, subtle vanilla oak and faint stewed orchard fruit. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and velvety balanced, offering sweet malt base, concentrated dried stone fruit, creamy butterscotch, and restrained refined oak spice that avoids harshness after 24 years of ageing.
