Distilled in 2012 and matured for a full 12 years before bottling in 2024, this artisanal release highlights Glen Elgin’s signature bright fruity Speyside profile with gentle creamy oak integration. The nose unfolds with crisp green apple, ripe pear, wild floral honey, vanilla custard and subtle soft toasted oak. On the palate, it is smooth and medium-bodied, featuring juicy orchard fruit compote, buttery malt toffee, faint almond sweetness and restrained light wood spice. The medium-length clean finish lingers with fresh fruity sweetness and delicate lingering oak warmth, showcasing approachable well-rounded Glen Elgin malt character.
