Matured ten years, it delivers balanced light peat, ripe stone fruit, briny coastal saline and warm vanilla oak without harsh medicinal smoke or thin watery sweetness. Its aroma mixes baked pear, mild smouldering malt and subtle wood spice. On the palate, rich layered fruit sweetness meets powerful cask strength warmth, rounded by soft oak tannins and faint sea salt undertones. The lengthy finish blends gentle peat and sweet dried fruit. Serve chilled neat; a tiny splash of mineral water softens its intense integrated coastal and fruity character.
