Drumfool Tomatin 26 Year Old 1994 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky independently bottled by Drumfool, at 47.7% ABV, 700ml. Distilled at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands in 1994 and matured for 26 years, selected and released by independent bottler Drumfool. Long maturation has lent incredible depth and subtlety to this expression. The nose presents dried apricot, honeyed floral notes, toffee, light cedar oak and a whisper of dried herbs. On the palate, ripe orchard fruit, vanilla cream, gentle spice and subtle nutty character unfold; the moderate strength delivers smooth, well-integrated flavours without heat. The lengthy finish offers lingering dried fruit, soft oak and delicate malt sweetness. Best enjoyed neat to appreciate the nuance brought by decades of cask ageing.
