Warre's Vintage Port 2008 is a celebrated Portuguese vintage fortified wine produced by Warre’s, bottled at 20% ABV in a standard 750ml format. Crafted from hand-harvested Douro Valley grape varieties, it delivers concentrated dark berry jam, ripe black cherry, rich dark chocolate, subtle dried violet floral notes, polished tannic oak and faint earthy graphite undertones. The nose unfolds with thick blackberry compote, elegant dried floral sweetness and deep aged barrel warmth. The palate balances velvety jammy fruit richness with tight integrated tannins, faint dried citrus lift and fully rounded structured texture. Its lengthy warming finish holds lingering dark stone fruit and subtle mineral herbal whispers. Best cellared long-term or savoured with dark chocolate and blue cheese, offering classic layered vintage Port depth without harsh alcoholic sharpness.
