Altenom Selection 1146 Anejo is an oak-aged premium Mexican agave spirit crafted by ArteNOM distillery, bottled at 41.3% ABV in a standard 700ml format. Matured in charred oak casks to meet strict anejo ageing standards, it delivers cooked blue agave sweetness, rich caramel, creamy vanilla, soft toasted wood spice and faint dried tropical fruit undertones. The nose opens with warm roasted agave, buttery vanilla custard, light barrel char and gentle sweet dried fruit aroma. The palate balances earthy core agave brightness with velvety oak depth, subtle cinnamon spice lift and well-mellowed rounded tannins. Its medium warm finish holds lingering caramelised agave and quiet polished wood herbal hints. Best enjoyed neat at room temperature or over ice, offering smooth layered oak-aged agave complexity without harsh alcoholic sharpness.
