This expressive mid-tier release builds upon the distillery’s core Origin range, amplifying fruit and oak complexity while retaining its signature clean grassy malt backbone. The nose opens with fresh malted barley, ripe stone fruit, bright citrus zest, wildflower honey and subtle toasted vanilla oak, showcasing richer cask influence than the entry-level expression. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and smoothly balanced, delivering gentle cereal malt sweetness, juicy stewed orchard fruit, soft creamy toffee and restrained polished wood tannins that add refined depth without harshness. Its warm, lingering finish carries balanced honeyed malt and vibrant fruit brightness, representing a more layered exploration of New Zealand craft malt terroir.
