The Epicurean White Port Finish is a refined Lowland blended malt whisky bottled at 48% ABV in a 700ml bottle. This special finished independent bottling from Douglas Laing gains bright fruity nuances from secondary maturation within white port casks into an elegant refined sipping expression. The nose reveals notes of juicy tropical citrus fruits, soft grassy Lowland malt, delicate sweet white grape sweetness, subtle floral aromas and gentle silky vanilla oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and sleekly delicate, with flavours of zesty fresh citrus, light crisp malty base, luscious port-derived fruit sweetness, faint mild floral spice and smoothly integrated light oak depth. The soft lingering finish highlights the graceful fruit-kissed character brought by white port cask maturation of this Lowland whisky.
