La Venenosa Sierra Occidental is a premium traditional Mexican raicilla produced by La Venenosa Distillery, sourced from the Western Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico, bottled at 40% ABV with a 700-millilitre bottle. It utilises agave grown on the rugged highland terrain of the Sierra Occidental, adopting classic local craft distilling methods including underground pit roasting and open-air natural fermentation. Its aroma carries ripe tropical fruits, bright citrus zest, fresh mountain wild herbs and gentle earthy mineral tones. The palate presents soft roasted agave sweetness, faint smoky nuances, subtle floral hints and delicate dry spice. It delivers a smooth and mellow finish with lingering fruity sweetness and light earthy undertones, perfectly showcasing the unique highland terroir characteristics of Mexico’s Western Sierra Madre agave spirits.
