Ballechin 11 Year Old 2010 Marsala Antipodes is a rich fruited peated Highland single malt Scotch bottled at 60% ABV in a 700ml bottle. This full-strength distillery exclusive release matures for 12 years in ex-Marsala wine casks from 2010 to bottling in 2022 to deliver a vibrant, well-balanced multi-layered expression. The nose opens with ripe dark berry, soft coastal peat, honeyed cereal malt, subtle dried fruit and sweet wine oak depth. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, with flavours of sun-warmed stone fruit, golden creamy toffee, mild mineral smoke spice and a prominent deep nutty wine cask oak depth. The long, lingering finish underscores the intense, fruited smoky Marsala-cask character of this limited 2010 vintage Highland peated single malt.
