The Epicurean Amarone Finish is a fruity wine-finished Lowland single malt independent bottling from Douglas Laing at 48% ABV with a 700ml volume. Finished in dried grape amarone red wine casks after core oak maturation, it delivers ripe dark berry sweetness balanced with mild raisin and soft wine tannin undertones. The aroma carries dried black grape, baked plum pulp, light red fruit skin and faint wine oak notes. The palate offers smooth rounded fruited core, gentle subtle wine tannin warmth and velvety medium texture. It holds a mellow lingering finish with vivid dark grape brightness and quiet red wine oak depth. Best savoured neat, light water dilution unfolds its elegant dried berry wine-cask malt profile.
